A notary public does not substitute for an attorney. I cannot create legal documents or advise, explain or in any way function as an attorney. The purpose of a Notary Public is to ensure that the parties signing the documents are who they say they are, that they understand why they are signing, and that they are signing of their own free will.
1. Do your documents require signature witnesses?
2. Do all signers have government-issued, unexpired, photo identification that matches their names as listed in the documents?
3. Do you know which documents need the attention of a Notary Public?
4. Does the document that needs notarization have notarial wording or a notarial certificate attached?
Notary Public fees vary depending on distance to signing and number of notarizations and signatures. Minimum fee: $50

Unlike the notaries at a bank or at shipping stores, I am available whenever you require a Notary Public - on your schedule - and I am only limited by the laws of Massachusetts in the types of documents I notarize.
